Kang Xia is a professional cellist from a renowned musical background family. His father was Professor JingluXia from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where he was a celebrated first-generation cello artist in the People’s Republic of China. Mr. Xia’s mother also was a piano professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
