Dec. 7, 2024, On January 18, 2025, Kang Cello Studio successfully hosted the first recital of the new year at the nursing home. Teacher Xia graced the event with his presence, performing alongside three students and his second son in a captivating cello duet. He concluded the recital with two iconic Bach pieces, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Every performer gave their all, especially the young "actors" who participate monthly, whose performances have become increasingly confident and polished, drawing admiration from all.

First-time host Audrey stood out with her thoughtful preparation. She took the initiative to explore our Kang Cello Studio website (www.kangcello.com) to gather information about Teacher Xia. Before his first piece, Audrey gave a detailed introduction of Teacher Xia’s teaching and performance background, seamlessly blending her own words into the hosting. Her effort and dedication shone through, making her an outstanding young host.

The monthly recitals not only provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, earn volunteer hours, and develop hosting skills but also foster friendships among the participants.
